1967

Once again, there were two plays. InThe Farmer’s Wife by Eden Phillpotts, Bob Broad, who played the male lead, was described by the local press as "perfect". He was joined by Fred Watterson in his WADS debut and Mabel Gordon, whose part was described as "well played". The paper went on to report that this was "the largest cast ever to appear in a WADS production".

The other show in 1967 was Sailor Beware by Philip King and Falkland Cary.

WADS also featured in the 1967 All Hallows Summer Fete at The Lawn, hosted by Lord and Lady Denning. In what capacity, we don't know.
